Abstracting important features itself and into a dedicated background process (managing all protocol loopers, etc) might be useful, and allow for some interesting features― like persistant replicants and creating new chat windows when a message is received (even if "Caya" is closed). There should be the option to stop the daemon when all windows are closed, maybe enabled by default.
